Meet Diana Hall
Eating well and incorporating positive lifestyle habits isn’t about deprivation, aggressively grunting over weights in the gym (no judgement to those that do) or endlessly counting calories. It’s a way of life which allows us to thrive, feel energised and most importantly be happy. Often, when our bodies function optimally, our skin is healthy and our muscles and bones don't creak (that much), we give little thought to what we put in it, what we put it through and how we look after ourselves. That's to say we take our health for granted, but when things are out of whack it can wreak havoc on our mental, physical and emotional health - and that's where spending time with a therapist can be game-changing.
As a nutritional therapist of nearly seven years I have developed an armoury of tools to assist clients. Over time, small changes in our diet and lifestyle can become learned routines, resulting in better mitochondrial health, improved sleep, healthier skin and a more diverse / efficient gut. I am crazy about home cooked food: fruits, veggies, pulses, fish, poultry, seeds, nuts, game, meat, offal, oils, ferments, herbs and spices - diversity, and a unique tailor made plan, according to religion, allergies and dietary preference, is key. Cooking from scratch takes time, but planning ahead and batch preparation are key... Plus we could probably all spend a little less time in the world of cyber and a little more time getting familiar with the likes of fibre!
